GLEN RIDGE, NJ — Steven Graff, piano recitalist, chamber musician, music history scholar and teacher will perform at the Women’s Club of Glen Ridge on April 5. His repertoire will include classical French works by Debussy, Saint-Saens, Rameau, Faure, and Satie, plus works written by Chopin in Paris, and French-inspired popular songs. Come hear favorites such as “La Vie En Rose” and “I Love Paris.” Graff will also provide some context for the songs and discuss French music of the time.
The lunch begins at noon and the performance at 1 p.m.
Graff debuted with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees as a Petschek scholarship awardee at The Julliard School, and his Doctorate of Musical Arts degree from The Graduate School of CUNY. “We are very pleased and privileged to have him come out to Glen Ridge for this event,” said a press release from the Glen Ridge Women’s Club.
