LIVINGSTON, NJ — With people living longer and healthier lives, retirement constitutes a whole new stage of development and planning. Join Elaine Garrod, a psychologist and social worker who recently retired from her private practice in West Caldwell, on Tuesday, Nov. 15, from 7:15 to 9 p.m. at the Linda & Rudy Slucker NCJW/Essex Center for Women in Livingston. With more than 40 years of professional experience, including working with adolescents, adults, couples and families, Garrod will discuss strategies regarding how to make these years the true gift they are.
Registration is required and programs are open to all women in the community. To register or for additional information about this or other programs, call the NCJW/Essex Center for Women at 973-994-4994 or visit www.centerforwomenNJ.org. Workshops are free for members of NCJW, and
