LIVINGSTON, NJ — On Friday, Dec. 2 , at 7:30 p.m., following Shabbat services at 6:30 p.m., Temple B’nai Abraham Sisterhood will sponsor a Shabbat dinner and speaker at the temple, 300 E. Northfield Road in Livingston. Fran R. Schumer, a restaurant reviewer for the New York Times’ N.J. section, will serve as the guest speaker for the evening’s program. With her topic of “Confessions of a Restaurant Reviewer,” she will share some of her most memorable restaurant experiences — both good and less than good — as well as a glimpse into what reviewing restaurants is actually like.
