LIVINGSTON, NJ — Being a good parent requires a lot more skill than most people think. What appears to be easy and routine isn’t always so. On Thursday, Jan. 11, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., clinical psychologist Carrie Spindel Bashoff will lead a workshop at the Linda & Rudy Slucker NCJW/Essex Center for Women on “Effective Ways to Improve Your Parenting Skills.” This is a mindful parenting approach that will help parents remain cool and composed in stressful situations.
This program will be held at the NCJW/Essex Center for Women, 70 South Orange Ave., Suite 120, Livingston. Registration is required and is open to all women in the community. To register or for additional information about this or other programs, call 973-994-4994 or visit www.centerforwomenNJ.org. Workshops are free for members of NCJW and charged for non-members.
