Heart health for women

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death and women are often treated differently than men. Join Dr. Marc Cohen, director of cardiology at Beth Israel Medical Center, on Wednesday, Sept. 13, from 7:15 to 9 p.m. at the Linda & Rudy Slucker NCJW/Essex Center for Women as he discusses and answers questions highlighting gender difference regarding prevention and treatment of cholesterol, hypertension, chest pain and warning signs of heart attacks. He will advise women of all ages the best way to prevent a “broken heart.”

This program will be held at the NCJW/Essex Center for Women in Livingston, 70 South Orange Ave., Suite 120. Registration is required and is open to all women in the community.
