SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Jewish Family Service of MetroWest will hold its annual Evening of Laughter on Wednesday, June 8, at Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael, 60 Temple Drive in Springfield. The featured performer will be comedian Gary Gulman, who was a finalist on the NBC reality-talent show “Last Comic Standing,” and is a regular on late-night comedy programs. The performance will benefit Jewish Family Service of MetroWest’s programs and services.
The Evening of Laughter this year recognizes the efforts of Livingston resident Michael Elchoness, who is currently serving as treasurer of the JFS of MetroWest board. Elchoness is also a board member of the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ and a board member of Rutgers University Hillel. He is on the advisory board of Team LeGrand, a division of the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.
