Ninth annual Dog Pawrade set for Sept. 17

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Regal Bank’s ninth annual Livingston Dog Pawrade will be putting the fun in fundraiser at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17. The community event will be staged in the parking lot of Regal Bank, located at 570 West Mt. Pleasant Ave. in Livingston. To avoid delays, participants are kindly asked to arrive early to register their dogs if they are not already pre-registered at a Regal Bank branch.

The Dog Pawrade is popular with animal lovers of all ages and offers family-friendly entertainment. Pet owners are encouraged to bring well-socialized dogs to show off their best Halloween costume and compete for prizes. Prizes will be awarded for largest dog, smallest dog and best doggie costume. The winners receive medals and all of the dogs go home with a goody bag.

All proceeds will benefit Friends of the Livingston Animal Shelter Committee to help upgrade the facility and provide supplies for the sheltered animals. Additionally, families can meet pets that are available for adoption at the event, thanks to the committee and local adoption agencies. The event will also showcase local vendors and a photo booth to capture the memories.

Participants can pre-register at any Regal Bank branch location. A registration fee applies. For more information, call 973-577-7161 or 973-577-7160.
