LIVINGSTON, NJ — On Thursday, Oct. 5, at 10 A.M., Temple B’nai Abraham, 300 East Northfield Road in Livingston, will hold services in observance of the holiday of Sukkot. Historically, Sukkot commemorates the 40-year period during which the children of Israel were wandering in the desert and lived in temporary dwellings, aka sukkahs. Sukkot lasts for seven days. All are invited to attend services.
Come and celebrate Sukkot at the Temple B’nai Abraham Jewish Learning Program’s Summertime Sukkot at Camp TBA on Sunday, Oct. 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Learn about Sukkot through the lens of camp, featuring arts and crafts, decorating the sukkah, a petting zoo, a pumpkin patch, IDF training sports and much more.
