LIVINGSTON, NJ — Residential care center CareOne at Livingston recently donated $5,000 to the West Essex YMCA’s annual campaign to support families and individuals in need.
“The West Essex YMCA opens opportunities to children and adults who otherwise couldn’t afford them,” Steven Salvanto, executive campus director and administrator of CareOne, said in a release. Salvanto, a longtime community volunteer, believes in the YMCA’s mission of nurturing children’s potential, promoting healthy living and fostering social responsibility, and joined the West Essex Y board of managers in 2014.
Proceeds from the annual campaign allow the Y to provide child care, summer camp and Y memberships to people based on financial need.
