MAPLEWOOD, NJ — This morning, March 15, PSE&G will be working on Maplewood Avenue between Inwood Place and the south end of Ricalton Square. They will be disconnecting gas service at 160 Maplewood Ave.
Vehicular traffic traveling north on Maplewood Avenue should turn left on Inwood Place as a detour. Vehicular traffic traveling south on Maplewood Avenue may enter the Ricalton Square parking lot. All parking spaces within this lot are available.
The parking spots between Inwood Place and the south end of Ricalton Square will be unavailable for the duration of the work.
PSE&G expects to have this work completed by noon today.
According to the township, PSE&G did not provide the township with advance notice of this work — one reason residents only found out about it at approximately 10 a.m.
