Erickson’s poetry comes into full ‘bloom’ at Words

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Words Bookstore presents writer and cancer survivor Jay Erickson on Friday, March 4, at 7:30 p.m. Erickson will be reading from his debut poetry collection, “Bloom.”

When author Jay Erickson was diagnosed with advanced metastatic cancer in 2013, he used poetry as a means to make sense of the experience and communicate his internal life during treatments to friends and family.”Bloom” was edited by Maplewood resident Mary Moloney.
