MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The Society of Musical Arts Orchestra continues its concert season Sunday, March 6, at 4 p.m. at Maplewood Middle School Auditorium, 7 Burnett St. in Maplewood. “Water Music, Revisited” will feature the music of Bernstein, Smetana, Elgar and Frazelle. The program will feature distinguished soprano soloist Katy Sumrow in Elgar’s “Sea Pictures.”
For more than years, the SOMA orchestra has brought together friends, neighbors and musicians, both professional and amateur, all for the love of music.
All are welcome to this show. This concert is free and made possible in part by funds from Investors Bank Foundation and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts administered through Essex County.
