‘Anybody Have a Map? Navigating Mental Health for Teens’

MILLBURN, NJ — JFS MetroWest is offering “Anybody Have A Map? Navigating Mental Health For Teens,” a program geared to parents of middle and high school students on Wednesday, Nov. 29, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Millburn Library, 200 Glen Ave. in Millburn. This program is free and open to the entire community.

Social worker Sara Mendez-Emma, clinical director of child and adolescent services at JFS MetroWest, will be leading a discussion about how to open the lines of communication with your child and what, when and how to talk to your child about stress, worries and their feelings. She will share possible warning signs for emotional distress and provide parents with practical information on how they can help.
