ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Diane Squadron assumed the role of chief executive officer of the Jewish Family Service of MetroWest, effective Feb. 1. Squadron brings nine years of experience from New Jersey’s Youth Consultation Services where she managed the child services division. She is also a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 15 years in private and group practice. She possesses strong management, relationship-building and grant development skills, as well as financial acumen, professionalism and empathy.
Squadron is originally from New York City, and has been a member of the MetroWest community for more than 15 years. She resides with her husband and three children in Millburn and is a member of Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel in South Orange.
“I am thrilled to be joining Jewish Family Service of MetroWest,” Squadron said in a press release. “It is an honor to be leading an organization that provides critical social services to meet the needs of individuals of all ages in the area.”
Marion Medow, president of the JFS board of trustees, is “excited to have Diane join JFS MetroWest. She brings the right mix of experience and enthusiasm to the agency and will help advance our commitment to the community.”
Medow also expressed her appreciation to the JFS staff and management team who met the needs of the community through the transition period as well as the JFS board and search committee, which provided support and worked tirelessly to find the right individual to lead the organization.
