MONTCLAIR, NJ — On Sunday, Oct. 9, from 1 to 4 p.m. at 108 Orange Road, the Montclair Historical Society and Montclair Community Farm Coalition are partnering for a fall harvest event. Activities include museum tours, hearth cooking demonstrations by the fire, apple tasting and cider pressing, thanks to the apples donated by Treelicious Orchards. Visit the community farm and see selections of historic farm tools. Learn how to care for your livestock with a visit to the chickens. Relax and enjoy the general store exhibit, weaving loom demonstrations and the schoolroom in the newly-renovated visitor center. Admission is charged; members get in for free.
