NEWARK, NJ — Essex County College, in partnership with 12 area companies searching for candidates to fill both full-time and part-time positions, is hosting a career fair on Thursday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the college’s fourth-floor multipurpose room, 303 University Ave. in Newark.
“As part of our continued commitment to our students, we are hosting this career fair,” said Mitra Choudhury, director of the college’s Training Inc. program. “The companies being represented have some great opportunities and we hope job seekers will take advantage of it. Our goal is to ensure that we keep building bridges between the employers and the students.”
Registration is recommended to attend the event; register at www.careerfairecctraininginc.eventbrite.com. The Career Fair is open to all residents.
Companies looking to fill a variety of positions at the Job Fair include AeroFarms, Compass Group, Daughters of Israel, Hertz, Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey, LabCorp, Macy’s, Newark Community Health Centers, ShopRite, Sodexo, Uniqlo and Waste Management.
