How law enforcement investigates police shootings

NEWARK, NJ — The Office of the Attorney General and the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office will present a discussion on “Investigations of Officer-Involved Shootings” on Thursday, May 31, at 6:30 p.m. at the New Hope Baptist Church, 106 Sussex Ave. in Newark. This event will feature Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, Newark Public Safety Director Anthony Ambrose, acting Essex County Prosecutor Robert Laurino and acting ECPO Chief of Detectives Mitchell McGuire.
