NUTLEY, NJ — The MetroEast Region of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners is hosting an “Appetizers and Head Shots” networking event from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, at Mamma Vittoria, 160 Franklin Ave. in Nutley.
This is the opportunity for business owners to get a professional “publicity portrait.” A professional headshot makes a statement about you and your business, and also gives you options when it comes time for providing a photo of yourself for speaking engagement announcements, honoree and author photo requests, and press releases, as well as adding or updating one of your online profile and social media pages. An assortment of appetizers will be served; soft drinks, coffee and tea are also included.
A 15-minute photo appointment will be scheduled for each private publicity portrait sitting. The photography will take place out of view of the networking area. Only 16 sittings are available. So register for yours as soon as possible. Time slots will be scheduled as reservations are made, on a first-come, first-served basis. A digital image of the final portrait in both high and low resolution will be provided to each person that is photographed. NJAWBO member Diane Lizza, owner of Maplecroft Studio, Newton, is the photographer.
Space is limited. Advance registration is recommended. Admission is charged, though at a much lower price to those not seeking a headshot. To register, visit www.njawbo.org/event/MetroEast-2017-3-30.
