Nutley to hold coronavirus memorial service

NUTLEY, NJ — The Nutley Clergy Fellowship will hold a memorial service for those who have been lost in the Nutley community to the coronavirus and other causes during the pandemic. The ceremony will be Sunday, June 14, at 7 p.m. in front of Town Hall.

The service will begin with the ringing of the church bells and include music, prayers, remarks by Mayor Mauro Tucci and a message of comfort and hope by Rev. Jill Fenske of Franklin Reformed Church. Prayers will also be offered for those currently infected, for those struggling and for the recovery of the Nutley community.

The public is invited to attend — using masks and social distancing — or to view the service online at Vincent UMC Facebook Page or Grace Church Facebook Page. All Nutley residents are invited to light a candle in their front window and offer thoughts and prayers.
