MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Township Committeewoman Nancy Adams and Township Committeeman Greg Lembrich have announced that they will be running for re-election to the Maplewood Township Committee, and seeking the endorsement of the Maplewood Democratic Committee, in the 2018 election.
According to a release from their campaign, Adams has taken the lead on such issues as the leaf blower ban, improving the safety of town streets and intersections, and most recently pedestrian behavior when they enter the street, all of which advance Adams’ focus on the health and safety of Maplewood residents. Lembrich has led the Township Committee’s efforts to transform the Maplewood Police Department as chairman of the Public Safety Committee, to secure fair state aid for the school district, and to improve communications with residents and make local government more accessible.
According to the release, both Adams and Lembrich have enjoyed their first terms on the Township Committee and the opportunity their service has given them to help the community of Maplewood. They look forward to their re-election campaign as a chance to engage with residents about the issues affecting the township and solutions that can improve the quality of life for all Maplewoodians.
