MAPLEWOOD, NJ — On Monday, April 2, at 7:30 p.m. at Maplewood Memorial Library, 51 Baker St., accomplished gardener and environmentalist Regina Carlson returns to the Maplewood Garden Club with her most recent garden talk: “Plants That Pay Their Rent and Plants That Should Be Evicted.”
Based on her experience growing hundreds of kinds of plants — and killing a good number — Regina will discuss both the good-doers and those that do much too well, plus unusual as well as common plant varieties. She will share plant-specific best practices that will benefit both novice and experienced gardeners as they prepare for the new growing season.
The event is free, and all are welcome. For more information, visit www.maplewoodgardenclub.org.
