MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Join the South Orange-Maplewood Community Coalition on Race to hear and discuss the latest statistical data relating to the SOMA population and particular groups within it. The CCR will issue in 2016 report to the community on demographic changes on Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. on the lower level of the Maplewood Memorial Library, 51 Baker St.
The CCR will share information on how SOMA’s demographics have changed in the last 20 years; where the towns are now with schools, housing and economic indices; trends that could impact the future; and how these changes could impact racial integration in the two towns in particular.
