Daugherty to discuss new book on AI at Words

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Maplewood resident Paul Daugherty, the chief technology and innovation officer of Accenture, will be at Words Bookstore, 179 Maplewood Ave., on Saturday, May 19, at 5 p.m. to introduce his new book “Human + Machine: Reimagining Work in the Age of AI.” The book discusses how organizations can “raise” artificial intelligence to act responsibly in business and society. The book draws on research from 1,500 organizations to debunk the idea that AI will replace the human workforce across industries.
