SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — Dino Cazares, center, guitarist and co-founder of Los Angeles industrial metal band Fear Factory, stopped by the WSOU studios recently for an interview before its show at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville.
Speaking with DJ Garren Lewis, left, Cazares discussed the significance of Fear Factory’s second studio album, Demanufacture, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, another tour in the fall, the future of Fear Factory, his side-project Asesino and humorous moments on the road. WSOU music director Mike Colantuoni, right, noted: “WSOU was one of the first stations to play Fear Factory back in the ’90s, and Dino, along with the rest of Fear Factory, have influenced many of the bands you hear on the station today.”
WSOU is the student-run radio station of Seton Hall University. More information about the station can be found online at www.wsou.net.
