Gearing up for the downfall of plastic waste in SO

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — South Orange trustees, members of the South Orange Environmental Commission and members of the South Orange Police Department teamed up Dec. 8 and handed out 500 reusable bags to commuters in an hour! This is all in anticipation of Jan. 1, when the village’s ban on single-use plastic bags in stores goes into effect.
