SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — In today’s fast-paced news cycle — much of it spun to appeal to a specific audience — it can be mind-numbing to keep up with the latest global news. As part of the South Orange-Maplewood Adult School fall lecture series, Pierre Fabian will examine critical issues in international politics, discuss the latest events and synthesize them into a manageable narrative on Thursday, Nov. 1, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in Room 103 at South Orange Middle School, 70 N. Ridgewood Road in South Orange. Fabian holds a master’s degree in international relations from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris, worked at the United Nations in New York and abroad for more than 20 years, and continues to lecture on world affairs.
