Health screenings by Overlook at the Hilton Library

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The Overlook Van will visit the Maplewood library’s Hilton Branch, 1688 Springfield Ave., throughout the year to provide free health screenings, educational materials and individual counseling. Receive a body mass index screening and cervical health materials on Thursday, Jan. 25, from 2 to 4 p.m.; blood pressure and blood glucose screenings and heart health materials on Thursday, Feb. 22, from 2 to 4 p.m.; body mass index and blood glucose screenings and sleep and nutrition educational materials on Thursday, March 22, from 2 to 4 p.m.; blood pressure and oral cancer screenings and educational materials on Thursday, April 19, from noon to 2 p.m.; blood pressure and blood glucose screenings and stroke awareness materials on Thursday, May 22, from noon to 2 p.m.; and a bone density screening and men’s health educational materials on Thursday, June 13, from noon to 2 p.m.
