SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — Oheb Shalom Congregation in South Orange will host an educational event called “Jews Had Slaves? Making Sense of Morally Challenging Passages in the Bible” on Sunday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. to noon. This lesson will be led by Jewish Theological Seminary professor Benjamin Sommer. There is no charge to attend.
