Local coat collection to help New Jersey residents stay warm this winter

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The GenWealth Group will again serve as a coat collection site for the annual Jersey Cares coat drive. Thanks to this drive, more than 30,000 “gently used” winter coats will be distributed to men, women and children in need throughout New Jersey.

“Each time someone comes through our doors and drops a coat into the bin, we know we’re helping someone stay warm this winter,” Cherie Leanza, vice president of marketing at GenWealth, said in a press release.

GenWealth will collect gently used coats for men, women and children, beginning Nov. 1 and ending Dec. 7. Collection times are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 6 Inwood Place in Maplewood
