SOUTH ORANGE / MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Through Dec. 13, the South Orange-Maplewood School District Parenting Center is hosting its annual holiday toy drive. Everyone is invited to help make holiday magic for 500 children and 150 families in the two towns.
There are a number of ways to participate. Buy gifts online and have them shipped directly to the Parenting Center by visiting https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1C8Y5M2GPVY4O?ref_=wl_share. Make an online tax-deductible contribution at https://www.gofundme.com/f/somsd-parenting-center-holiday-toy-drive. Mail a check, payable to the SOMSD Parenting Center to 525 Academy St., Maplewood, NJ 07040. Or donate new, unwrapped gifts for children, infancy through age 17; collection boxes are located at every school in the district and at pre-schools and local businesses throughout the two towns.
