Maplewood march, rally to end police brutality

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — There will be a march and rally in Maplewood on Saturday, Oct. 22, which is the 21st National Day of Protest, to “stop police brutality, repression and the criminalization of a generation.”

At 10 a.m., participants will assemble at Gleason parking lot, on Parker Avenue below Valley Street; this will be followed by the rally at 10:30 a.m. At 11 a.m., participants will march to the Maplewood Police Department. The event will end with a 12:15 p.m. closing rally at the Maplewood Police Department.
