New, age-friendly exercise program offered by Maplewood Recreation

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Maplewood Recreation is offering a new, age-friendly exercise program, called Zumba in the Circuit. This is a fun activity for all fitness levels, so please join in and give it a try. A free, introductory class will be Thursday, Nov. 3, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at 106 Burnett Ave., next door to the DeHart Community Center.

If you mix the zumba program with a series of strength exercises at timed intervals, you’ve got Zumba in the Circuit. Zumba in the Circuit creates the same party atmosphere as other zumba programs because the rhythm and dance is the passion and foundation that keeps everyone having fun. Zumba in the Circuit is fun, different, challenging, effective and provides the new avenue of light weights to the activity as an option. This program will focus on toning, cardio and dance to get you moving and having fun.

Maplewood Recreation’s new instructor, Nick Marchesani, is sure to motivate and inspire you.

Whether you are a zumba-veteran or a first-timer, join this free class. Bring comfortable sneakers, water and an open mind.
