New Jersey Fencing Alliance member and epee fencer Joshua Abdill donates toys to the Parenting Center’s drive.
MAPLEWOOD, NJ — During the past month, the families with fencers at New Jersey Fencing Alliance in Maplewood participated in a toy drive. The fencing club also hosted a beginners’ tournament on Dec. 10 and, in lieu of the entry fee, participants brought toys for the drive. The South Orange-Maplewood School District’s Parenting Center received the donated bags of toys to distribute through their annual drive to benefit local families in need.
