SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — The Mickey Fried Preschool of Oheb Shalom Congregation has hired Sloane Goldstein as its new director.
For the past 10 years, Goldstein has been the assistant director at The Kaplan Cooperative Preschool, a thriving, successful and highly regarded preschool affiliated with United Synagogue of Hoboken. She received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from American University and her master’s in early childhood education from Hofstra University.
On Friday, June 17, a free family-friendly Beer Garden Shabbat will take place on the preschool playground at 5:30 p.m. for current and prospective preschool families to meet Goldstein.
“Sloane has wonderful energy and great passion for early childhood education. She comes from a school that, like ours, has an excellent reputation. We are so excited to welcome her into our extraordinary and caring community,” Mickey Fried Preschool board member and search committee Chairwoman Alissa Kaplan said in a press release.
