Safety Fest in Maplewood on Sept. 8

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Maplewood’s 2019 Safety Fest will be Sunday, Sept. 8, from 2 to 5 p.m. at 525 Valley St. in Maplewood. This event, which is brought to the community by American Jiu Jitsu of Maplewood, will include bicycle safety, free child ID kits, emergency vehicles, fire safety, first aid squad information and self-defense essentials.

Get back to school safely. Get your child’s year started off right by brushing up on how to stay safe this year. AJJ of Maplewood is partnering the Maplewood Police Department, Maplewood Fire Department and the South Orange Rescue Squad to present this event.
