MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The South Mountain YMCA’s first ever “Camps for a Cause” campaign has been a great success. Each camper was given a mission envelope, along with directions and an iron-on patch. They were involved in activities and introduced to books related to helping others and being kind.
The donations are still being counted and the Camps for a Cause trophy is still up for grabs, but the Y has already raised more than $5,000.
