SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — South Orange has contracted with FSC Computerized Water Main Leak Detection company to locate any leaks within the village’s water system, according to a recent release. They will be using sophisticated technology on fire hydrants and water valves in front of properties by attaching a series of computerized sound correlators and listening devices to pinpoint a water leak within the system.
This process will begin today, July 18, and will continue for approximately one month. South Orange Public Works will be working alongside FSC throughout the village.
