MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Save the dates for the following Maplewood Health Department events:
On Saturday, Sept. 9, from 1 to 3 p.m., volunteers are needed to help the Trap Neuter Vaccinate and Release Feral Cat Program in Maplewood. People for Animals will be meeting with the Maplewood Health Department and other TNVR volunteers to plan, update and regroup the feral cat TNVR project. Volunteers and resources are needed to make this program a success. This is the third year of a three-year pilot program for TNVR.
On Saturday, Oct. 7, from noon to 4 p.m., Maplewood will hold its annual Health and HarvestFest. This event will include a rabies clinic for dogs and cats, provided by St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare. HarvestFest will be held in Maplecrest Park, next to the Hilton Library.
