Tri-County Scholarship Fund annual dinner raises $1 million for needy students

WHIPPANY, NJ — Tri-County Scholarship Fund raised a record-breaking $1 million in scholarship funds at its 36th annual Awards Dinner on Nov. 6 at the Hanover Marriott in Whippany. Fulfilling the mission of Tri-County, the scholarships will go to deserving K-12 students in Morris, Passaic and Sussex counties so they can obtain quality, values-based educations at accredited private elementary and secondary schools.

This year’s gala honored three distinguished members of the New Jersey community. A Hall of Fame Award went to Dr. Bonita Stanton, founding dean of Seton Hall/Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine; she was was introduced by Robert Garrett, CEO of Hackensack Meridian Health Network, and by Msgr. Joseph R. Reilly, rector and dean of Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology at Seton Hall University.
