  • On Thursdays, April 5 and 19, experience Hebrew chant and mindfulness meditation at 9:30 a.m. with the Mindfulness Meditation and Chant Group, facilitated by Beth Sandweiss. Sandweiss uses simple melodies, breath and awareness exercises to relax the mind, open the heart and bring attention to the present moment. The beginning of each session is guided, and no meditation or chanting experience is necessary.
  • On Sunday, April 22, join the TSTI community at 7 p.m. for a screening of the Israeli film “Ajami,” which is about a religiously mixed community of Arabs and Jews living in the Tel Aviv-Jaffa area. Five stories describing everyday life are portrayed by a cast of non-actors in the real streets of Ajami. Israeli snacks will be served.
