SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — Area families with children in preschool through second grade are welcome to attend the a Hanukkah celebration and dinner for young families at Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel on Friday, Dec. 7, at 5 p.m.; it will be followed immediately by a family-friendly Hanukkah Shabbat service at 6 p.m. with Ellen Allard, an award-winning recording artist, performer and early childhood music specialist. The evening will include a children’s holiday activity and pizza dinner, with gluten-free and dairy-free options available upon request.
Advance reservations are required for planning purposes; include names of all adults and children as well as children’s ages and any dietary restrictions. RSVP by Wednesday, Dec. 5, to Samy Fantacone, TSTI’s Young Family Coordinator, at sfantacone@tstinj.org.
