SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel, the Reform synagogue at 432 Scotland Road in South Orange, will host a Shabbat, Scholar and Supper on Friday, April 27. The speaker will be Joshua Cohen, regional director of the Anti-Defamation League’s New Jersey office, who will address the congregation during dinner with the topic: “Imagine a World Without Hate.” The evening service is at 6 p.m., followed immediately by dinner with Cohen. Cohen, who joined the ADL in 2009, is responsible for the overall planning, direction and administration of all regional office activities, including leadership development, government relations, program delivery and research to advance ADL’s mission. He also represents ADL in the community, to the media and to public officials. Prior to joining the New Jersey regional office in 2015, he served as the associate director for ADL’s Philadelphia Regional Office.
