Two towns work to become age-friendly

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — South Orange and Maplewood will jointly host a community forum to discuss “SOMA – Becoming Age-Friendly Communities.” This event, funded by the Grotta Fund for Senior Care, will address services for older adults and will serve as a springboard for ideas about how the two towns can address the changing needs of residents as they age in the communities.

The forum will be Sunday, June 5, from 2 to 4 p.m., at The Woodland, 60 Woodland Road in Maplewood. Light refreshments will be served.
