SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — Older adults who are looking for activities to share with others are welcome to join residents of Village Apartments of the Jewish Federation in South Orange for the following programs in October:
- On Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 4 p.m., professional harpist Faye Fishman will share the beautiful music of the Celtic harp.
- On Tuesday, Oct. 23, come learn about floral design in this hands-on creative workshop, led by Megan Fainsinger of ART By The People, at 2:30 p.m. At 4 p.m. in the community room, Village Apartments will show “I Love Lucy,” a movie that showcases the greatest episodes of that iconic television show.
- On Wednesdays, Oct. 24 and 31, the weekly current events discussion group and knitting club will take place at 2 and 4 p.m. respectively.
- On Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 3 p.m., art appreciation teacher Judy Ebright will give a virtual tour and lecture on Grounds for Sculpture, the outdoor sculpture garden in Hamilton.
