WEST ORANGE, NJ — Adler Aphasia Center, located in West Orange and Maywood, recently accepted a formal resolution in Trenton as the state of New Jersey formally declared June as National Aphasia Awareness Month. Each year, the state passes a joint statewide resolution, which is introduced on the floor of the State Senate; this awareness effort is spearheaded by the Adler Aphasia Center and sponsored by longtime center advocate and NJ Senate majority leader Loretta Weinberg.
