Casalino is sworn in as council president

WEST ORANGE, NJ — Michelle Casalino was officially sworn in as new council president by N.J. State Assemblyman John McKeon, with her husband, Tony Casalino, holding the Bible, at the Township Council’s Jan. 7 meeting.

Casalino takes the helm from Jerry Guarino, who passed her the ceremonial gavel at the meeting. After being sworn in, Casalino gave thanks for the support of her husband, family and friends who showed up to support her as incoming council president.
