WEST ORANGE, NJ — Chabad of West Orange will hold its grand anniversary celebration on Friday, Dec. 27, and Saturday, Dec. 28, at its synagogue, 401 Pleasant Valley Way in West Orange.
Experience Shabbos Hanukkah with the Traveling Chassidim with Friday night dinner and soulful services, all starting with the lighting of the Hanukkah menorah and Shabbos candles at 4:15 p.m. Admission to the dinner is charged; to RSVP, visit www.chabadwestorange.com/fnd or call 973-325-6311.
On Shabbos Day, Chabad will have celebratory services and a grand kiddush. Services will begin at 9:30 a.m., with the kiddush following at 12:15 p.m. All are welcome. That evening, there will be a musical havdalah at 6 p.m., following by the Hanukkah menorah lighting, a game of dreidel and some holiday snacks.
