WEST ORANGE, NJ — Chabad of West Orange presents a Shabbaton with Rabbi Yossi Lew to commemorate the yahrzeit of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
Lew, who will speak several times between Friday evening, June 15, and Saturday, June 16, was privy to many first-hand accounts of the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s personal and public life. His family also had a unique relationship with the rebbe’s wife, with whom they visited many times. Lew travels the world, sharing his stories, pearls of the rebbe’s wisdom and contemporary anecdotes. Lew and his wife, Shternie, were sent as emissaries of the Lubavitcher Rebbe to Atlanta in 1993 and currently direct Chabad of Peachtree City, on the Southside of Atlanta.
