WEST ORANGE, NJ — The 2018 Barktober Halloween Dog Parade will be Saturday, Oct. 20, at O’Connor Park, 19 Ralph Road in West Orange, to benefit the West Orange Animal Shelter. Registration opens at 9:30 a.m. and the parade runs from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m.
The event will include a costume contest, with categories: overall “top dog”; best pack/family; most creative; most “fur-ocious”; and best couple for dog and owner. Participation is charged.
