WEST ORANGE, NJ — West Orange Township historian and author Joseph Fagan leads a history walking tour at the Eagle Rock Reservation on June 26. The free tours are open to the public and conducted under the auspices of the Essex County Department of Parks and Recreation. Fagan explained the history behind the 450-foot spiked wall constructed in 1907, which is one of about a dozen talking stops around Crest Drive. The guided tour lasts a little over an hour and the next one is scheduled for July 17 at 10:00 a.m. To sign up, contact Fagan at [email protected].
